  • Virtual meetup hosted by Chabot parents

An online discussion of the issues confronting our schools, with school board candidate Sam Davis.

Sam is a parent at Oakland Tech and a former Oakland teacher, endorsed by the Democratic Party, the teachers' union, many elected officials, and parents and educators from every public school in North Oakland.

Hosted by Chabot parents Caitlin Khurshid, Clarence Hunt and Lenore Anderson, and former Claremont PTA president Shona Armstrong — all are welcome to join!

With guest speaker Keith Brown, president of the Oakland teachers' union, OEA.

What changes should be made in our Oakland schools? With four open seats on the school board, this election will mark a big change in direction for OUSD. Ask your questions and give your ideas for how to handle the pandemic, district finances, integrating our schools more, charter schools, reducing teacher turnover, and more!
